Faulty Feeder Detection Based on Grey Correlation Degree of Adaptive Frequency Band in Resonant Grounding Distribution System

Due to the particularity of their process, petrochemical enterprises have high requirements for reliability power supply. If a large-scale blackout occurs due grounding fault, it will pose huge threat safe production. When resonant system faults, complex fault process and weak signal, is difficult accurately detect faulty feeder by traditional methods. This paper presents new method grey correlation degree based on adaptive frequency band. Firstly, transient zero-sequence current each decomposed coif5 wavelet, low band a5 (power component) d1, d2 (noise signal) are removed. By stacking all remaining signals construct wavelet area matrix, detection characteristic scale first result obtained. Secondly, scale, second obtained average which detects according waveform degree. Finally, final equal weight voting. In MATLAB/Simulink, 10 kV modeled. A large number simulation results show that not affected initial phase angle (0°, 45° 90°), transition resistance (10 Ω, 100 Ω 1000 Ω), distance (1 km, 8 km 15 km) overcompensation (5%, 8% 10%), has good sensitivity.
